Mr. Jeremiah Weed, the patron father of Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur, released a video on his YouTube site, suggesting Early Times Whiskey has offended plumbers everywhere with their “Joe the Plumber Toast.” The Early Times toast calls for a main ingredient of red plumb juice, a detail Mr. Weed calls “elitist.”

Where would you even find red plumb juice? It's probably easier to find Early Times than it is red plumb juice.

"What self-respecting plumber would drink red plumb juice?" Mr. Weed asked rhetorically from his home in Weed, Kentucky. "Where would you even find red plumb juice? It's probably easier to find Early Times than it is red plumb juice."

Instead, ahead of the Presidential election, Mr. Weed offered his own "True Plumber Toast" which he posted on his website, The toast calls for drinking Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur "straight up" in a glass.

"Joe 6-Pack or Joe the Plumber - Nobody's going to drink red plumb juice. Even if they liked it, they couldn't find it. It's elitist. Just drink Jeremiah Weed straight up. That's the way you do it."
