IS-BAO certification is awarded after a rigorous, independent auditing process conducted by the nonprofit International Business Aviation Council.

About the IS-BAO Code of Practices:
IS-BAO was introduced in 2002 by the International Business Aviation Council. IS-BAO is similar to an ISO-9000 standard of practice, but specifically formulated for the business aviation community. The code challenges flight departments to review their current systems, programs and procedures, recognize strengths and weaknesses in those procedures, and upgrade to the highest standards.
