PoshTV, a new national 24-hour shopping network showcasing designer jewelry, gemstones, accessories, handbags and shoes, premieres Wednesday, November 24 just in time for the holiday shopping season, Luxury Ventures, LLC. announced today. Available on DirecTV Channel 314, PoshTV will reach 19.3 million viewers in all 50 states. On the same day, PoshTV will launch its complementary online shopping site at http://www.PoshTV.com.
"PoshTV will offer a wide range of luxury merchandise at deeply discounted prices," said Steven Zale, marketing director of the privately-owned Luxury Ventures, which is bringing PoshTV to the airwaves. "In addition to trend-setting styles from Paris, London, Rome, Beverly Hills and New York, we'll offer respected brands such as Demeter, Steven Zale Beverly Hills, B. Smith, Effy and Paris Blues, as well as many other celebrity-infused brands."
PoshTV is headquartered in Reno, NV at the former state-of-the-art production studio of GemsTV, which ceased operations in April. "Many former GemsTV hosts and behind-the-scenes personnel remained committed to bringing the best in gemstones and jewelry to their loyal customers, and are now part of PoshTV," said Zale. "Viewers can expect to see many of their favorites including Karen Connelly, Jerry, Lyndsey, Marva Nation and Emily Skyle."
"When I was on air with GemsTV, my viewers felt like friends, and I can't wait to see my old friends," said Karen Connelly, former GemsTV presenter and host of the new PoshTV. "I'm excited to be a part of PoshTV. They share my commitment to building relationships with our viewers and giving them what they want - premium quality jewelry and accessories, and affordable pricing."
Zale indicated that in addition to having access to some exceptional values not readily found anywhere else, viewers also will learn about the stories behind their favorite products, learn how products are developed and be entertained by some of the most engaging designers known for defining trends, not following them.
PoshTV plans to expand distribution soon via satellite, over air, cable and fiber distribution channels to extend its viewing audience.
