JFMagic (http://www.jfmagic.com) announced today that it is partnering with Milou Couture of Allentown, Pa., to integrate its patented “just flashy magic” fiber optic and LED technology into exclusive collections of “Doggie De-lights” and “Kids and Canines” fashions.

The new lighted doggie apparel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUeZBzD7m9c ) features the world’s first reversible wet and dry, light-emitting canine rain coat that is safe when wet, and needs only a small watch battery for power. A new line of flashing canine safety vests are also being manufactured using JFMagic’s innovative insertion technology.

JFMagic CEO Fumiko Green said that as a result of the new partnership, Milou Couture also is introducing a “Kids and Canines” collection of matching clothes with imbedded fiber optic designs. “These are not available anywhere else in the world. I guess some people might say that fashion is going to the dogs, but our lighted dog fashions are now going to people.”

Among the new kids’ couture is the Princess Star Dress, encrusted with twinkling stars in its full skirt. It comes, of course, with matching pet apparel. All of the dresses feature vintage materials, such as 1940 buttons and old lace.

“I’ve always wanted to add lighting effects to my designs,” Genny Perez, founder and lead designer of Milou Couture said. “Then I met JFMagic at a Lehigh Valley event, and found they shared my passionate love of dogs. The connection was made.”

JFMagic LLC is an R&D and product design firm located in Bethlehem, Pa. It was founded by its Vice President Lee Wainwright, an inventor who pioneered fabric-based fiber optic animated displays, for which he received the first patent in 1989. Nine patents later, JFMagic’s clients have grown to include multi-national corporations Disney, Nike and Sony, as well as entertainment stars Britney Spears, Isaac Hayes, Lauren Hutton and Robin Williams.

JFMagic specializes in innovative lighted products and fiber optic lighting supplies, including solar-powered outdoor banners, home and garden accessories, promotional caps and bags, and electric embroidery on all types of apparel.
