Strong Company Growth and Rebounding Participation in Corporate Philanthropic Programs Drives Another Milestone Year in the Dollar Value of Charitable Donations Processed.

JK Group, Inc., the leading provider of integrated software and services for corporate philanthropy and social responsibility, today announced that in calendar year 2012 it processed in excess of $1 billion of charitable donations on behalf of its corporate clients and their employees. This represents the third consecutive year in which donations processed exceeded $1 billion, benefiting over 170,000 not-for-profit organizations. While a very high percentage of the recipient organizations were located in the United States, the company also executed payments to non-governmental organizations in over 60 countries as well.

“We have seen consistent progress since the recessionary lows in charitable giving that we experienced in 2009,” commented Robert Farina, JK Group’s Chief Executive Officer. “The dollar value of donations from our corporate clients and their employees only scratches the surface of their philanthropic efforts, as this number does not include the value of product donations or the massive number of hours volunteered to assist worthy causes. We expect that 2013 will continue to build on this momentum, although we will be monitoring the potential impact that proposed changes in the U.S. tax code could have on our clients' programs as the year progresses.”
