Johnson Lambert’s Partners, Josh Partlow and Andrea Wright, were recently appointed to positions on committees relevant to the clients we serve.
Josh Partlow, who currently serves as Chair of the Vermont Board of Public Accountancy and on the Audit Committee of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), has been appointed to serve on the AICPA Auditing Standards Board for the 2013-2014 volunteer service year. Their mission is to develop and communicate performance and reporting standards and practice guidance that enable the public auditing profession to provide high quality objective attestation services in the best interests of the profession and the beneficiaries of those services, with the ultimate purpose of serving the public interest.
Andrea Wright, who just recently completed a 3-year term on the AICPA’s Not-for-Profit Expert Panel and Audit Guide Task Force, has been appointed to the AICPA Technical Standards Subcommittee. In cooperation with state societies under the Joint Ethics Enforcement Program, the AICPA technical standards subcommittee investigates complaints or other information alleging potential disciplinary matters involving technical issues.
These appointments are not only influential to the profession and industries that Johnson Lambert serves; they are also an example of additional resources relevant to our clients needs.
