Job seekers, employers and churches connect online through national faith-based job search and career transition resource site

We've embraced the proliferation of the Internet and how social networking has changed the way people communicate and obtain information. Coupled with the site's improved functionality, these enhancements allow us to harness the power of technology, while continuing to change the lives of career seekers, churches and employers through our faith-based career resources.

Crossroads Career® Network, a national community of churches providing faith-based, job search and career transition resources, recently redesigned and re-launched its website to add features. These features include a career blog, prayer wall, career videos and podcasts, tutorials for job seekers, social networking functionality and RSS job and blog feeds.

Job seekers, employers and churches connect online for both complimentary and membership-based career services on crossroadscareer.org, where Crossroads Career Network has been providing employment guidance, ministry and employer resources, as well as offering counsel, networking and support, for nearly 10 years. Its member churches provide on-the-ground fellowship, prayer and help to connect and engage job seekers in career workshops, networking meetings and more.

This non-profit ministry's newly-added website features make the site more user-friendly while utilizing the latest social networking capabilities to post its jobs on Twitter and enable visitors to share career information across platforms. In addition to informative career videos and podcasts, job seekers and career explorers can now access a career tip blog written by industry and career experts. The blog provides insightful postings and opportunities for feedback. All of the site's main career resources are just a click away, enabling job seekers and career explorers quicker access to pertinent information.

According to Brian Ray, volunteer president at Crossroads Career Network, "We've embraced the proliferation of the Internet and how social networking has changed the way people communicate and obtain information. Coupled with the site's improved functionality, these enhancements allow us to harness the power of technology, while continuing to change the lives of career seekers, churches and employers through our faith-based career resources."

Job seekers enjoy extensive complimentary career resources and a 6 Step, 80-page Career Exploration Guide (a $40 value) until December 31, 2009. For additional information about Crossroads Career Network, register for its services or become a member, visit us online at crossroadscareer.org.
