Miami, FL (PRWEB) April 14, 2011
JPay, Inc., the nation's leading payment platform for correctional agencies, announced today that the company is moving its call center operations from out of state to its new South Florida location. The move will bring over 75 new jobs to Florida by July and over 125 by year's end, contributing to Governor Rick Scott's initiative to create over 1 million private sector Florida jobs.
"Being a South Florida Company, we are excited to participate in the Governor's job growth initiative," said Ryan Shapiro, JPay's CEO. "We believe Florida is a fantastic state to run our business for many reasons. The Governor's pro jobs agenda solidified our decision to move the call center here."
As unemployment lingers, even the most talented people are having a hard time finding work. By opening a call center in Miramar, the company hopes to gain the best of both worlds being on the border of Miami-Dade County and Broward County. The company plans to add 75 customer service positions by the end of June and an additional 50 positions by the end of the year, totaling 125 new jobs. With the continued success and expansion of JPay's products in correctional agencies across the country, the company believes 2012 will be another growth year with additional employment opportunities.
