Digital Sports Group are today launching the PFA Profile of Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen. DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their football news site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Joe Allen to see his official PFA Profile.
The Welshman signed for the Merseyside club on the 10th August 2012 and has impressed in his first three games. Known for his superb passing ability, Joe is being compared to some great Liverpool ‘pass masters’ including the likes of Xabi Alonso, Jamie Redknapp and Jan Molby.
He made his Premier League debut on 18 August 2012, starting in a 3-0 loss against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns. He started Liverpool's next game of the league campaign against the league champions Manchester City. He was voted man of the match on the club's official website by fans and journalists.
