DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their football news site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Liverpool Football Club’s Joe Cole to see his official PFA Profile.

Cole signed for Liverpool in 2010 and was given the number 10 shirt. He made his Liverpool debut in the Europa League against Rabotnicki. Cole enjoyed a mix run of form in his first season for Liverpool and it was decided by the then manager of Liverpool Kenny Dalglish to let Cole join French champions Lille OSC. He enjoyed an impressive season in France playing 31 times, scoring 4 league goals. Despite Lille’s desire to keep Cole at the club it was announced that Brendan Rodgers wanted the player to rejoin the Liverpool squad.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Cole will have no shortage of fans after impressing for Lille OSC last season with Liverpool fans hoping he can continue this form for the reds this season.”

“Of course a player with Cole’s talent requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”

Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England. The Joe Cole Facebook Page is now live.
