He says that unlike many other health books, his solution to living a healthy life won’t have any strict diets attached, but only common sense advice.
RUTHTON, Minn. (PRWEB) September 27, 2014
Author Joel Minett was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at only 8 years old. Now, 40 years and 36,000 insulin shots later, Minett says he lives a perfectly healthy life despite his diabetes. Upon seeing so many others struggle with diabetes and related health problems, Minett has decided to help others live a healthy life of their own by sharing his secrets.
Minett invites readers with diabetes to learn from his new autobiography, “40 Healthy Years with Diabetes” (published by AuthorHouse), which details the issues and roadblocks he has dealt with as a person with diabetes, and how he has rid his life of additional health problems.
Minett says that numerous other children in his area were diagnosed with diabetes around the same time he was and that he is now the only one from this group that is still alive. Forty years later and Minett says he hasn’t let diabetes affect his life at all.
In “40 Healthy Years with Diabetes,” Minett chronicles the hurdles he faced early on with diabetes and how he learned to live with the disease. He says that unlike many other health books, his solution to living a healthy life won’t have any strict diets attached, but only common sense advice.
