“With the overwhelming response to TV shows all over the world like Canada’s Got Talent, Canadian Idol and all its subsidiaries, the powerful message being broadcast to the world is that it is OK to dream..." ~ Scott Cooper, CEO Talent, Inc.
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) April 19, 2012
Talent, INC. CEO, Scott Cooper announced today the launch of its Canadian Sister Office. At the helm is veteran performer John F. Stevens, and entrepreneur Doug W. Sloan. They have accelerated the Talent, INC Canadian footprint with their previous success rate. Talent, INC (Canada) Ltd. will open its first studio in the breathtaking Queen East Centre, in downtown Toronto.
“We chose this area due to its close proximity to notable local agents and casting facilities.” says Stevens.
Doug Sloan, who has owned and operated some of the most exclusive properties in the ritzy neighborhood of Yorkville in Toronto exclaimed, “The vibrancy of The Queen East Centre and the establishments surrounding it exude creative energy.”
Stevens and Sloan have developed some of today’s most successful young performers across Canada.
“Working with John, has been spectacular. What I love about him is he loves what he does. He has both passion and pride in the people he helps to succeed. “,says Morrissa Nicole, a talented gospel singer from the GTA. Morrissa just released her self- titled album on iTunes last month and has made TV appearances promoting her album. She is also an accomplished musical theatre performer having made appearances in High School Musical 2, a long running favorite in the Toronto area.
Cooper, who has trained and developed such superstars as “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” star Brooklyn Decker, “Beverly Hills 90210” beauty Jessica Stroup, and the comedic Coy Stewart from the hit TV show “Are We There Yet?” is optimistic about the expansion.
“Canada has always valued talented performers. Mirvish Productions is living proof that Canadians value talent and want to explore all that the arts have to offer.”
Cooper points out, “With the overwhelming response to TV shows all over the world like Canada’s Got Talent, and Canadian Idol and all its subsidiaries, the powerful message being broadcast to the world is that it is OK to dream, and that pursuing the arts can lead to great things!”
Doug Sloan chimed in with “Watching those shows also underlines the need for proper training.” He laughed and said, “That’s where we come in.”
Michael Fessaha of Scarborough recently booked the lead in a short film called Child Of War in Los Angeles. His mother, Gaby told us he was so emotional when he booked this challenging role he just had to call Doug right away! “I could never have done it without you!” cried Michael on the phone.
