Recruiting for Good Sponsors Join the Pet Party Celebrating Kitt Crusaders's Pet Co-Funding Solution at Culver Hotel, in Culver City on August 16, 2012, between 700-930 pm to raise funds through a silent auction and to educate people on how using social contacts helps fund pet rescues and saves lives.
Recruiting for Good has recently launched Pet Co-Fundraising, a unique and exciting program that raises funds to financially empower pet parents to make a difference. Money is generated through contacts to provide pet owners with monies to benefit Kitt Crusaders a Los Angeles based non-profit organization that rescues cats and places them in homes.
Kitt Crusaders a non-profit animal rescue organization founded in 2010 by Mary Tonden. They network and rescue cats and kittens (among other types of pets) from local L.A. City and County shelters (as well as the streets) to save them from being killed. They raise money, provide veterinary care, and match ’em up with fosters or adopters. They hold adoption events every weekend, and place these rescued animals in forever homes.

Providing music entertainment at the Pet Party. Danny "Big Chief Captain Dan" Meyer is a busy LA variety band leader, guitarist, bassist and singer. His Pocket Jazz Trio is a popular combo for charity and family events around town. Danny's passion is bringing music to the community and he regularly performs at and produces concert series for the City of Los Angeles. He produces the West LA Civic Summer Concert and Children's Movie Series. He started the West LA Farmers Market and has created three school teen music programs.
