A large number of social networks and communities using our software are built on the basis of shared interests, Blooie takes it further and creates even more conversations! - Nabil, COO, JomSocial.com
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (PRWEB) November 29, 2012
JomSocial, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Santa Clara, California, will be offering Blooie’s chat technology to its open-source social network software customers. The deal means members of over 160,000 online communities around the world will eventually be able to enjoy real-time conversations based on shared interests.
Blooie's technology enables any JomSocial powered social network to host real-time conversations by pairing users together - through similar interests, content, and topics. Blooie then analyses the conversations to further ensure more relevant user matches in future chats.
Nabil Feisal Bamadhaj, COO of JomSocial said: "We're glad to work with the team behind Blooie to provide contextual instant messaging solutions to all JomSocial powered social networks. A large number of social networks and communities using our software are built on the basis of shared interests, Blooie takes it further and creates even more conversations!"
Mark Ryan, co-founder of Blooie said: "Blooie is delighted to be working alongside JomSocial to push forward the boundaries of what social communication is."
Blooie have also agreed to integrate their technology into a third party chat plugin for Joomla! and Offiria, a sister company of JomSocial which provides enterprise social network software. This will see Blooie providing for a new market of customers in the Joomla! marketplace and is the first of Blooie’s enterprise integrations.
JomSocial is the leading social network and community extension software on the widely popular and open-source Joomla! platform with an installation base of over 160,000 websites on a rapidly expanding platform.
Blooie was founded in September 2011 and is an alumni of the ignite100 accelerator programme based in the UK. The company secured investment in February 2012 from Northstar Ventures and IP Group, and is due to announce a series of commercial partners in Q4 2012.
