At the 65th Annual Federal Tax Clinic, a conference for CPAs and attorneys in the Southeast, renowned trust and estate planning attorney Jonathan Blattmachr of Eagle River Advisors shared his guidance on the intricacies of temporary tax exemptions.
A nationally-recognized authority in the field of estate planning and a prolific speaker on insurance and taxation matters in estate planning, Mr. Blattmachr spoke on the topic of opportunities for financial and estate planning available under the temporary $5 million estate, gift and GST tax exemptions. Among other topics, he discussed how most efficiently to use the exemptions.
Mr. Blattmachr was joined by many of the country’s top tax specialists at the conference, which spanned November 17th through the 18th, 2011. Some of the other seminars were on the topics of Federal tax developments, the ins and outs of retirement plan distributions and year-end tax planning.
