Universal City, Calif. (PRWEB) June 7, 2010
The MTV Movie Awards are not the Grammy’s, but the crowds that gathered and attending the event were prepared to witness one of the funniest awards show in the history of MTV. The Red Carpet was packed with a spectacular who's who of pop culture mega stars getting prepared to be performers, presenters and trend setters in fashion.
Green is one fashion trend Hollywood‘s Red Carpet is quickly showing the world that can be stylish and is more than just a choice, it is a lifestyle. Two time Grammy winning artists Jason Mraz started this trend when he wore a specially created tuxedo with EcoGir™ for his Red Carpet appearances at the 2010 Grammy Awards.
For the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet, Eco-Friendly fashion prevailed once again with Josh Sussman wearing an EcoGir™ Tuxedo. Best known for his role as Hugh Normous in Wizards of Waverly Place and his role as Jacob Ben Israel in Glee, Josh was accompanied on the Red Carpet with his puppet co-star “Warren The Ape”; promoting their new MTV self titled series. Warren The Ape is a parody of the “life of a celebrity” reality show focused on the daily trials and tribulations of the D-Grade celebrity puppet. Having first gained notoriety on the former MTV sitcom Greg The Bunny; Warren The Ape chronicles the puppets attempt to clean up his act, patch relationships, and work his way back into the Hollywood limelight.
This year's MTV Movie awards were hosted by stand-up comedian and actor on "Parks and Recreation" funnyman Aziz Ansari. The event was filled with off color comments to lighten the crowd and a heartfelt speech by Sandra Bullock affirming she is here to stay and asking for support for those suffering from the gulf oil spill crisis.
Fan favorites on the Red Carpet included Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Steve Carell, Jonah Hill, Russell Brand, Vanessa Hudgens, Miranda Cosgrove, P Diddy, and the cast of Twilight, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart all stopped to speak to the media and have their photos taken. Also attending the event was Will Ferrell, Mark Whalberg, Scarlett Johansson, Betty White, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, T.I, Jessica Alba, Michael Cera, Eva Mendes, Sandra Bullock, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and Kieran Culkin.
With thousands of eyes and lenses focused on the arrivals, celebrity style is no laughing matter. The MTV Movie Awards are certainly no Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Show, yet this year’s event still had the fashion world's biggest names present. Hollywood is quickly showing the world that being green can be stylish and is more than just a fashion choice, it is a lifestyle choice.
Being green is a personal choice for Sussman. For the 23rd Annual Great Chefs of LA, Josh was interviewed by Apple Levy, founder of eco-website “http://www.thegreengirls.com” about his l efforts to be more eco-friendly. Continuing to show his commitment to the environment, Josh Sussman walked the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet dressed in a black tuxedo by EcoGir™. Using patented technology by Bagir International, EcoGir™ is the only suit created using post consumer PET water bottles and is Eco-friendly in every step of the manufacturing process.
“Sussman’s personal style is his lifestyle. His red carpet fashion choice is proof of his commitment to the saving our environment. Josh is an individual who makes every day, Earth Day ,“ says Tim Danser, Vice President of Bagir International.
