DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Chelsea’s Juan Mata to see his official PFA Profile.

DSG became the official digital partner of the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) earlier this year and have since launched a number of Player profile fan pages on social media site Facebook as well as providing official player pages on their football news site football.co.uk. It was today the turn of Chelsea’s Juan Mata to see his official PFA Profile.

The Spanish attacking midfielder has enjoyed a highly successful season since signing for Chelsea, helping the team to win both the European Champions League and FA Cup in his first season. Mata was also part of the Spanish squad that recently won the Euro’s and has been selected as one of the 18 man Spanish squad for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Mata made 53 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this season scoring 12 goals with 22 assists.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “The Juan Mata Facebook page will have no shortage of fans after a highly successful season with Chelsea, with fans keen to see if he can continue this form into the new season.”

“Of course being part of the reigning European Champions, both at domestic and international level requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”
