The 2007 Chevrolet Freestyle Junior Olympics will be hosted by the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club (SSWSC) in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, March 5-11, 2007. SSWSC and the United States Ski Association (USSA) are excited to host the nation's best freestyle skiers in five exciting events including moguls, dual moguls, aerials, halfpipe and slopestyle. The Chevrolet Junior Olympics brings together the top junior competitors from each event division. The Chevrolet Junior Olympic results determine who is the best overall junior competitor in each discipline and the best competitor in each age class. This year only junior athletes will be invited to Junior Olympics.

The Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is the national governing body for Olympic skiing and snowboarding. Founded in 1905, the nearly century-old organization provides leadership and direction for tens of thousands of young skiers and snowboarders who share an Olympic dream. As a company, USSA's management and staff coordinate a nationwide program in seven distinctly different Olympic sports -- alpine, cross country, disabled, freestyle, ski jumping, nordic combined, and snowboarding. The U.S. Ski Team has been based in Utah since in 1974, with the now U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association consolidating with the Team in Park City in 1988.
