Edwin was one of the kindest and most honest men I have ever known
Bridgeport, CT (PRWEB) September 07, 2012
On Sunday, August 26, 2012, Edwin Cephus Thomas, age 36, of Bridgeport died suddenly when the car he was riding in drifted off Route 25 North and struck a tractor-trailer. Thomas was a proud father of three: Shekeem Oneil Thomas and Shameka Akelia Thomas, both of Jamaica, as well as one-year-old Edwin Cephus Thomas III of Connecticut. Thomas was a longtime employee of the Junkluggers Junk Removal company. To help cover the funeral costs, the Junkluggers has pledged to donate $1,500 to the Thomas family.
At the Junkluggers, Thomas was known for being incomparably friendly and a dedicated worker. After learning of Thomas’ passing, Junkluggers CEO Josh Cohen emphasized, “Edwin was one of the kindest and most honest men I have ever known… Our customers never ran out of good things to say about Edwin, nor did his coworkers. He genuinely just knew how to make people happy. This is a terrible loss for the company, his colleagues, his friends, and his family.”
Cohen’s sentiments were echoed by a broad range of Junkluggers employees. Human Resources Manager, Teal Frost reflected, “The level of respect and adoration that I have seen for Edwin over the past two days is incredible. It is a true testament to his character.” Another long-time Junkluggers employee, Thierry Fomerand, praised Thomas’ “charisma, positive attitude, and genuine kindness.”
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit 729 Union Ave. Bridgeport, CT. 06607.
