After many years of searching, I had finally found my teacher--Kabbalist Rav Baruch Shalom Ashlag (the Rabash), the firstborn son and successor of the great Kabbalist Rav Yehuda Ashlag, known as Baal HaSulam (Owner of the Ladder) for his Sulam (Ladder) commentary on The Book of Zohar.

His blog in English, Laitman.com (http://www.laitman.com), features highly relevant posts about the state of the world and what can be done to prevent both individual and global suffering.
Blog posts on Michael Laitman's blog cover a wide range of topics such as the increasingly common phenomenon of hyperactivity in children, the crisis of religions around the world, the urgent need to prevent another world war, how our correction will prevent animal suffering, evolution, love, reality, and many other eye opening revelations such as how Nazism can emerge and triumph again in our time.
The following is an excerpt from Michael Laitman's personal blog:
"After many years of searching, I had finally found my teacher--Kabbalist Rav Baruch Shalom Ashlag (the Rabash), the firstborn son and successor of the great Kabbalist Rav Yehuda Ashlag, known as Baal HaSulam (Owner of the Ladder) for his Sulam (Ladder) commentary on The Book of Zohar."
"For the next twelve years, 1979-1991, I never moved from the side of Rabash, until his passing. To me he was 'The Last of the Mohicans,' the last in the long dynasty of Kabbalists that stretched thousands of years back. The whole time I was with him, I served as his personal assistant, his secretary, and his prime student. With Rabash's encouragement, I wrote and published my first three books in 1983."
A sought after lecturer at international conferences around the globe, Laitman is the author of hundreds of published articles and a wide range of books in English that can be downloaded for free at Laitman.com. English publications include Attaining The Worlds Beyond; Kabbalah For Beginners; The Zohar (to be published in 2008); Kabbalah Revealed: The Ordinary Person's Guide to a Peaceful Life; From Chaos To Harmony: The Solution to the Global Crisis According to the Wisdom of Kabbalah; The Complete Idiot's Guide to Kabbalah (Penguin); Awakening to Kabbalah: The Guiding Light of Spiritual Fulfillment (Jewish Lights); Kabbalah, Science and the Meaning of Life: Because Your Life Has Meaning; Basic Concepts in Kabbalah: Expanding Your Inner Vision; The Path of Kabbalah: Revealing the Hidden Wisdom; The Kabbalah Experience: The Definitive Q&A Guide to Authentic Kabbalah; A Guide to the Hidden Wisdom of Kabbalah; The Science of Kabbalah; Introduction to the Book of Zohar; Together Forever; World Futures: The Journal of General Evolution (Taylor & Francis, June 2006).
