Notably, license revenue doubled in the second quarter over the same period last year, while support revenues grew 34 percent and training revenues grew 36 percent in the first half as compared to the same period in 2006. In addition, total spending was flat year over year, reflecting the company's increased focus on reaching and maintaining profitability.

New customers licensing Kalido software include BT, Metronet and Commerce Bank. Over eighty percent of license revenues in the half came from new Kalido customers. In addition, existing customers, including BP and Fannie Mae, upgraded or licensed additional software in the period. Over fifty-five percent of all transactions in the first half included the latest release of Kalido's award-winning Master Data Management Solution.

"Market demand is strong for effective solutions to manage and reconcile data that needs to be shared across applications," said Henry Morris, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Software and Services Research, at IDC. "Kalido continues to demonstrate its ability to deliver software that provides a solid foundation of consistent data, enabling organizations to manage their business better with more relevant, comprehensive, information-based insight."
