Privately held Noble Investment Group ("Noble"), a leading sponsor of private equity real estate funds and an integrated lodging and hospitality operating and development organization, today announced the completion of a comprehensive $9 million renovation to the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza Hotel. The enhancements of the Kansas City Plaza Hotel include an overarching renewal of all guestrooms, meeting and event space, food and beverage outlets, as well as all public areas.

The $9 million renovation incorporated the débuts of the new M.I. Greatroom, a.k.a., The Lobby , a place where business and leisure intersect in a stunningly stylish, energetic and multidimensional setting that inspires guests to engage, relax, work and play. The M.I. Greatroom is an ideal spot for guests to engage in small work groups, gather in a casual dining experience or socialize and unwind in an inviting, comfortable, living-room atmosphere with intimate social zones, enabling guests to tailor the use of the space to suit their own needs, much as they would do in their own homes.

  • The welcome zone has been transformed into more than just a place to check-in at the front desk or kiosk, featuring a new approach to local information, personalized concierge services and retail offerings.
  • The individual zone is a quiet place to unwind with small, comfortable spaces to read magazines and newspapers, work, surf the net or listen to personal entertainment, as well as enjoy a snack.
  • The social zone enables groups of business travelers to relax in a lounge atmosphere, offering intimate tables-for-two, where guests can converse with a glass of wine or gourmet treat, as well as other areas for impromptu meetings or breakout discussions.
  • The business zone includes a revamped business center including workspace with for an individual or a group.
