Law Firm To Challenge Board Members, Managers in Fun Contest of “Beat the Lawyer,” Testing Attorney Knowledge of Florida Condo & HOA Law

Katzman Garfinkel & Berger proudly supports the CAI Mid-Florida chapter in its important annual trade show event for the rapidly expanding community association population and those who serve community associations throughout Central Florida.

Katzman Garfinkel & Berger, the leader in community association law in the state of Florida, invites all Central Florida community association Board members and managers attending the March 29th CAI Mid-Florida Chapter 2012 Tradeshow in Orlando to stop by the law firm’s booth for a chance to “Beat the Lawyer” in a fun contest of wills and wit based on Florida condominium and homeowners association law.

Katzman Garfinkel & Berger attorneys will be on hand from 3-6 pm at Booths 66 & 67 during the annual Community Association Institute trade show so that Board members and managers can test them in this game of “Beat the Lawyer” on their knowledge of Florida community association law, as set out in the Florida Condo Act (Chapter 718) and the Florida HOA Act (Chapter 720).

Each participating community association Board member or manager may pose a single question related to any section of Florida’s two community association legal statutes and a Katzman Garfinkel & Berger attorney must be able to answer within 60 seconds – or face the ignominious result of having had a Board member or manager “Beat the Lawyer” at his or her own game!

Any Board member or manager who does manage to stump a Katzman Garfinkel & Berger attorney will receive an official “Beat the Lawyer Champion” certificate. All participating Board members and managers will receive a Katzman Garfinkel & Berger “Board Members Do It For Free” tote bag and will have their names entered in a raffle for a Microsoft Xbox 360 + Kinect full body gaming ensemble.

The CAI Mid-Florida Chapter 2012 Tradeshow will be held from 3pm to 7pm on March 29, 2012 at the Hilton Orlando, 6001 Destination Parkway, Orlando, FL 32819. Information on registration may be found online through the CAI Mid-Florida Chapter website at http://www.caimidflorida.org or by going direct to the event registration page at: http://bit.ly/ys8gEj.

Katzman Garfinkel & Berger and other participating exhibitors will display booths this year that reflect the 2012 CAI trade show theme of “Community Association Safari: It’s a Jungle Out There.” In 2011, Katzman Garfinkel & Berger won the “Best Booth Award” for its Hollywood at the Hilton-themed exhibitor stand.

“Katzman Garfinkel & Berger proudly supports the CAI Mid-Florida chapter in its important annual trade show event for the rapidly expanding Central Florida community association population and for those firms who serve community associations throughout the mid-Florida region,” said Katzman Garfinkel & Berger Founding Partner Alan B. Garfinkel, who leads the Firm’s Central Florida operations from offices in Maitland.

“Throughout the year, the CAI Mid-Florida chapter does outstanding work in the area of Board member and manager education and toward improving Central Florida community association living,” Garfinkel added. “We encourage all Central Florida community Board members and licensed managers to come out to the show at the Hilton Orlando on March 29th and to stop by the Katzman Garfinkel & Berger booth, where they’ll not only have a chance to “Beat the Lawyer” but are also promised an extra-special trade show experience they won’t soon forget.”
