Kelora Systems, LLC, and Foot Locker Retail, Inc., announced on Tuesday that they have reached a settlement and patent licensing agreement. Under the terms of this agreement, Kelora has withdrawn its lawsuit against Eastbay Inc., for infringement of U.S. Patent Number 6,275,821, entitled "Method and System for Executing a Guided Parametric Search." The agreement eliminates the need for any further court proceedings related to the use of this patented technology and will allow Foot Locker, at its sole discretion, to incorporate Kelora's guided parametric search engine technology into its websites.
This case is Case No. 10-CV-683, in the District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
