Experience Cape Breton golf at its finest at the Highlands Links Golf Course at Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa. The Nova Scotia golf course is scheduled to open on May 18th, a couple weeks before the opening of Keltic Lodge.
“Our inspired 18-hole course is located within one of Canada’s most beautiful natural settings” states General Manager of Keltic Lodge Matthew Mackenzie. “It was also recently recognized as the best golf course in Canada by Top 100 Golf Courses and the 57th best in the world by Links Golf Magazine.”
The Stanley Thompson designed masterpiece, the Cape Breton Highlands Links, is a true links golf course. What Thompson called his “mountains and ocean” golf course in Cape Breton Nova Scotia, offers golfers a unique opportunity to experience beautiful views and surroundings on a world famous golf course. Thompson's many world-famous courses include the Banff Springs Golf Course in Banff, Alberta, the Jasper Park Golf Course in Jasper, Alberta, and the Digby Pines Golf Course in Digby, Nova Scotia.
Over the past 24 months, an extensive course improvement and restorative program has been ongoing. Under the expert guidance of golf course architect and Stanley Thompson expert Ian Andrew, the imagination and genius of Thompson’s design is being restored throughout the Cape Breton Golf Course.
