Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa is pleased to announce the opening of their iconic Cape Breton resort. The resort is open for the summer season until October 2013 and is welcoming guests to their newly-renovated property on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.

Under the lead of Matthew Mackenzie, the Nova Scotia resort opened its doors on May 15, 2013 and will be open throughout the summer season. With completed renovations to key guest areas around property, visitors of Keltic Lodge will experience an authentic Cape Breton vacation at the resort.

New to Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa for the 2013 season is Executive Chef Darryll Mac Donnell, who has a strong commitment to local seafood and cuisine. With 90 years of combined culinary leadership by all Cape Bretoners, Keltic Lodge’s culinary team is led by the resort’s first Cape Breton born Executive Chef.

With extensive renovations around property, from revitalized guestrooms to the award-winning Nova Scotia restaurant – the Purple Thistle Dining Room, guests experience world-class hospitality in the heart of Cape Breton Island. Visitors will relish in the sounds of traditional Celtic music nightly in the newly-renovated Highland Sitting Room.
