Marketing Executive Among Six CMOs Recognized for Enhancing and Elevating their Profession

The Club selected six CMOs who embody best-of-the-best marketing practices, and together, we acknowledged their significant contributions to Dallas’ leadership landscape.

Kent Huffman, Chief Marketing Officer at BearCom Wireless, has been recognized as one of the Top CMOs in Dallas/Fort Worth by D CEO magazine and The CMO Club. Huffman joined marketing colleagues from Mary Kay, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Samsung Mobile USA, TXU Energy, and Michaels Stores in accepting the award.

“What an honor it was to be recognized by D CEO magazine and The CMO Club, alongside such an impressive and accomplished group of marketers,” Huffman said. “It’s exactly these kinds of people who continue to inspire me to elevate the bar in my profession.”

D CEO magazine sponsored the awards, along with The CMO Club, which brings together top marketing executives for events and the sharing of ideas. The organization boasts more than 600 members and has active chapters around the country. The March 21 event at which the top Dallas/Fort Worth CMOs were recognized attracted more than 100 attendees.

Honored as a top Chief Marketing Officer along with Huffman were Sheryl Adkins-Green, CMO at Mary Kay; Michael Grasso, CMO at TXU Energy; Todd Pendleton, CMO at Samsung Mobile USA; Paula Puleo, Executive Vice President & CMO at Michaels Stores; and Tom Santora, CMO & Senior Vice President of Sales at Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Huffman will be attending another awards dinner soon, as he is a finalist for the CMO of the Year Award being presented by the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the American Marketing Association. That organization annually recognizes a CMO of the Year, a Marketer of the Year, and a Collegiate Marketer of the Year.
