Travelling abroad with little ones became a whole lot easier last year when Keycamp launched its toddler and baby-friendly Mini World parcs; and with seven nights at the family-run L'Atlantique parc in Southern Brittany now costing from just £148 per family, these parcs promise especially great value as well as great fun and perfect for a family holiday.

The nineteen Mini World parcs in the Keycamp programme offer free baby packs which provide the use of a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and potty, plus all-terrain buggies and toddler trucks to hire - meaning mum and dad are able to travel a lot lighter. The parcs also offer children's pools and play areas, free decking gates where applicable, plus many offer Mini Fun Station clubs, Tumble Tots sessions and even free Waterbabies swimming lessons for the under fives.

Dave McKenna, marketing manager at Keycamp, says: "Taking a baby abroad for the first time can be a daunting experience, which is why we've developed these parcs to make the holiday as carefree as possible for mum and dad. As well as providing all the equipment they could possibly need, we also make sure there's a full programme of events to keep the little ones occupied. Certainly, the freedom and flexibility of our style of holiday means we are perfectly placed to cater for young families - and even better, if they stay in the same accommodation, grandparents can join the holiday for free."

A superb family-run parc with direct access to a fine, sandy beach, L'Atlantique in Beg-Meil is an especially good choice for families with pre-school children. Parents can feel the stress melt away as they indulge at the new spa and jacuzzi and enjoy facilities such as swimming pools, cycle hire and crazy golf, while there's plenty to keep the little ones occupied too.

Out and about, there's much to explore with the old market town of Pont l'Abbé and the bustling resort of Bénodet, which is famed for its watersports, close at hand.

Seven nights from 11 May at L'Atlantique will cost from £148 for a family of two adults and up to four children staying in a two bedroom Classic Midi mobile home, including return Dover-Calais ferry crossings.
