Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) May 9, 2008
Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) will offer young chefs nationwide the opportunity to express themselves through food and fun during the second annual Simon Kidgits Super Duper Mini Chefs event hosted at 106 Simon malls from coast to coast from May through July. While participating, kids may also help provide non-perishable food to needy families served by local hunger-relief organizations.
The free event, hosted by the Simon Kidgits Club, will celebrate food and fun with entertaining, family-oriented activities designed especially for pint-sized chefs, including the chance to show off their creativity at the Barilla Piccolini® Pastabilities craft station, a Mr. Potato Head Mix 'N Match activity from Playskool, and healthy recipes from children's entertainment company qubo. Also, qubo will preview some of its healthy, family-friendly television programming, and in select malls, Veggie Tales characters Bob and Larry as well as Dragon will make appearances to add to the fun.
Participating children will also receive free giveaways and the chance to win more prizes, and parents will get a coupon for Barilla Piccolini. Simon Kidgits Club members will receive a free Fruit & Veggie Playset and Kids Placemat while supplies last.
