Simon Kidgit Club's Super Duper Mini Chefs Stirs Up Cooking Fun For Kids, Families at Simon Malls

Simon Property Group will offer young chefs nationwide the opportunity to express themselves through food and fun during the second annual Simon Kidgits Super Duper Mini Chefs event. Participating children will also receive free giveaways and the chance to win prizes. Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) will offer young chefs nationwide the opportunity to express themselves through food and fun during the second annual Simon Kidgits Super Duper Mini Chefs event hosted at 106 Simon malls from coast to coast from May through July. While participating, kids may also help provide non-perishable food to needy families served by local hunger-relief organizations.

The free event, hosted by the Simon Kidgits Club, will celebrate food and fun with entertaining, family-oriented activities designed especially for pint-sized chefs, including the chance to show off their creativity at the Barilla Piccolini® Pastabilities craft station, a Mr. Potato Head Mix 'N Match activity from Playskool, and healthy recipes from children's entertainment company qubo. Also, qubo will preview some of its healthy, family-friendly television programming, and in select malls, Veggie Tales characters Bob and Larry as well as Dragon will make appearances to add to the fun.

Participating children will also receive free giveaways and the chance to win more prizes, and parents will get a coupon for Barilla Piccolini. Simon Kidgits Club members will receive a free Fruit & Veggie Playset and Kids Placemat while supplies last.

Super Duper Mini Chefs is one of several programs and events held throughout the year for members of Simon Kidgits Club, which focuses on health, wellness, education, safety and entertainment for children ages three through eight. Other annual Simon Kidgits Club events conducted nationally include Book Blast! and Move It!. Many Simon malls participating in the Simon Kidgits Club further supplement the national event calendar with localized monthly events for members.

Although children are not required to be members of Simon Kidgits Club in order to participate in the Super Duper Mini Chefs event, families can sign up for Simon Kidgits Club memberships during regular mall hours at participating Simon malls. Membership includes a Simon Kidgits Club membership card and T-shirt, scheduled entertainment and activities for families, a Birthday Club (including birthday card and gift redemption certificate), unique programs and offers, discounts and a quarterly newsletter.
