Washington, DC (PRWEB) May 6, 2009 -- Sultry singer Kim Cameron, frontwoman of the Washington DC based Side FX band, has paired up with Robert Jazayeri, who's worked with the industry's top labels (including Jive and Sony) and produced hit songs like "When Your Eyes Say It" by Britney Spears and All Saints' multi-platinum single "Never Ever." Jazayeri has just signed on to produce Kim Cameron & the Side FX band's upcoming album "Turning Point", which is currently scheduled for release in Fall 2009.

"Kim Cameron is my first endeavor in providing professional song writing, composition and production to the DC area talent scene," says Jazayeri. "I was looking to work with an artist who had the talent and drive to take advantage of such an opportunity and I admit I was skeptical at first but then after working with Kim I was ecstatic with the results of our collaboration, and I could not have asked for a better match." Kim Cameron is equally thrilled about the collaboration: "Robert has a way of pulling the very best from you. His attention to every detail is remarkable and captivating."
The two have already developed three songs together, including "A Simple Touch", a song about love at first sight with a smooth R&B feel, "Amazing Dreams", an ode to friendship, and their first dance track "Timeless". The expectations for the second album are high after receiving rave reviews for their debut CD, "Contradictions," which was completed in September, 2008. Larry Flick, of Sirius Satellite Radio, notes that "Kim Cameron's Side FX Band has pop appeal that manages to be accessible to the mainstream, while also displaying a fun, unique, and sometimes outta-nowhere flavor. Kim has a playful presence that gives the band enough star-power to rise above the pack."
Kim Cameron is also proud to announce the launch of her new website. The sleek new website is an up close and personal look at the rising alternative pop queen. The website reveals her inspiring reinvention from corporate career to frontwoman of the Side FX band. Also on the site: Kim's personal blog, as well as a list of the causes she supports, including the U.S. military (which inspired her tribute song to the troops, "My Hero").
Upcoming performances by Kim Cameron & the Side FX band include: 05/15 at the Unicity Performing Arts Festival in Salisbury MD, 06/18 at the Hard Rock Café in Washington DC, 07/04 at Red and Black in Washington DC. For a more up to date list of performances, please visit their Shows page.
