With the football season set to kick off in just three weeks, anticipation is building for the opening games on the weekend of 14th – 15th August. To celebrate the start of the new season, Kitbag are today promoting the release of two footballing giants’ new kits, Arsenal and Chelsea.
The new Arsenal shirt, set for release this Thursday, 29th July, has a retro design that marks a return to the 70’s heyday of George Graham, Liam Brady and Charlie George, with the familiar block red body, a white round neck collar and white sleeves.
Chelsea have already released their home kit for the 2010/11 season, but the away kit is not available for purchase until Thursday 5th August. The new away design combines a modern interpretation of the classic pinstripe with bright orange on a black base.
Both kits can now be viewed at kitbag.com, with the Arsenal home kit and Chelsea away kit both available for pre-order, while the Chelsea home kit is already available to purchase.
A spokesperson for Kitbag, Europe’s leading sports online retailer, said “The two kits show contrasting styles in terms of their design. Nike’s retro Arsenal design is in contrast to Adidas’ more modern Chelsea interpretation. Both kits are now available from kitbag.com.”
