In kitchen design, the sum is always greater than the parts, but one wrong part can undermine the entire appearance of the room. So to give people guidance for combining all the right parts – from the flooring to the countertops to the appliances – Kitchens.com developed the “Get the Look” section, a comprehensive guide to creating beautiful kitchens.

“Get the Look” shows how product selections and samples chosen by a designer would look in a typical kitchen. It features computer-generated photo-realistic images of various styles of kitchens, from a white English kitchen to a rustic industrial loft. Each design is created by a skilled kitchen designer. Accompanying each kitchen render is a design board displaying the product, color and material choices used in the room. Visitors can click on each product to find more information about it, such as the make and model number of the item, and even where to purchase it online.

“Our goal with ‘Get the Look’ is to provide people with a complete outfit for a kitchen,” said Kitchens.com Senior Designer Sadie L. Smith. “While some people might just want to know what appliances to buy for a kitchen, many people want help selecting every item that goes into creating a kitchen. ‘Get the Look’ achieves this and shows people how all the products look together in an actual kitchen.”

There are currently 15 different kitchen designs to choose from in “Get the Look.” More kitchen styles will be added every month.
