Recycling kitchen wastes has never been easier, or less smelly, thanks to a new indoor composting kit from SCD Probiotics. Designed to fit under most kitchen sinks, the composting bucket collects food scraps in an airtight bucket. Further evidence suggests that dumping food waste in a landfill causes environmental damage. By volume, it is the largest contributor to methane gas production.² It causes odor as it decomposes, attracts flies and vermin, and has the potential to add Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) to the leachate.
