We believe that Cadee Software will help us achieve this and we are excited about the new offerings we will be delivering in the very near future.

KloudNation, a leader in distance based training and coaching software, announced today a deal to acquire Cadee Software Inc., a Toronto-based startup and 500 Startups company. With the talent and technology acquisition, the Cadee team will remain on with the company and begin development of KloudNation’s newest offering - Athena - a distance based training application for the enterprise.

SaaS business is a fast and ever changing industry that requires companies to be nimble. The acquisition of Cadee Software enables KloudNation to deliver a better product in a more timely and efficient manner. “Bringing the Cadee team and platform in-house allows us to be more agile which will result in greater efficiency and an increase in market share,” added Bryan Merckling, chief technology officer and founder of KloudNation.

KloudNation will integrate Cadee’s existing platform and leverage its team to provide a more complete and streamlined offering to its clients. This integration process is already underway and will not disrupt any existing services or products. “Existing KloudNation clients will receive the same high quality services and products they have come to expect without any disruption,” said Merckling.

The acquisition of Cadee Software signifies a big step for KloudNation, who seeks to diversify its client offerings once the integration is complete. “The focus of our business has always been distance based engagement, an area ripe with opportunity. Our objective throughout this process was to find someone that would add value to our existing offerings while helping us develop new ways for our clients to engage with others. We believe that Cadee Software will help us achieve this and we are excited about the new offerings we will be delivering in the very near future” Rex Jobe, Chief Executive Officer of KloudNation.

Cadee’s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Noone O’Connor, is excited about the new possibilities and said, “KloudNation is a perfect fit for us.
