more than a publishing phenomenon, but a sign of the times
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 28, 2009
For Dummies®, a branded imprint of Wiley Publishing, Inc., announced today a competition to discover the next how-to experts, who will have the opportunity to be published on Dummies.com. Co-sponsored by Knol, a new tool from Google, and Dummies.com, the Knol for Dummies.com contest invites contestants to submit how-to articles on their areas of expertise and interest.
Submissions are open today through March 23, 2009 at http://www.google.com/landing/knolfordummies/. As with other knol articles, contestants may choose any subject and write about it as they see fit - through text, photos, and almost any other type of media.
Winners of the Knol for Dummies.com contest will be selected by Dummies.com and Knol and announced on May 8. Five finalists will have the opportunity to have their how-to articles featured on Dummies.com, including one grand prize winner who will also receive a cash prize of $1,000.
