Labtronics Signs Software Licensing Agreement with KnowledgeTree® Document Management Software
Labtronics licenses KnowledgeTree under "Powered by KnowledgeTree®" OEM program for use in Labtronics' Nexxis SDMS™
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) February 3, 2009 - KnowledgeTree, the leading provider of open source document management software for small to medium-sized organizations, today announced the licensing of its KnowledgeTree Document Management Software to Labtronics Inc., a world leader in the development of software solutions for laboratory instrument interfacing and laboratory automation.
The KnowledgeTree Commercial Edition, licensed under KnowledgeTree's "Powered by KnowledgeTree" licensing program, will be bundled with Labtronics' LimsLink, an application for collecting, parsing and reporting data. The bundled and co-branded product, called Nexxis SDMS, is a Scientific Data Management System that stores and manages all types of scientific data and documentation and easily integrates with existing informatics systems such as LIMS, ELN, ERP and instrument data systems.
