KolverUSA offers a complete line of Brushless Screwdrivers. The Brushless (BRL) Series feature state-of-the-art brushless motors and clutchless torque control, the perfect solution for clean room applications thanks to zero emissions of carbon and other pollutants in the working environment.

The Brushless Series by KolverUSA are extremely small and lightweight for utmost operator comfort and with advanced ergonomic design, the ensure very low noise level, minimum vibrations, maximum safety, lasting performance as well as maintenance free operation.

The Brushless screwdrivers are available either with a current control system, our AS Series, or with a mechanical clutch, our FR Series. In both cases the electronic controller, EDUBR Series, will cut the power supply to the motor as soon as the preset torque has been reached. All of the KolverUSA BRL drivers come standard with an ESD-safe body, 8.2 ft connection cable and suspension bail. The heavy-duty cables and connectors, developed for robotic applications are made of antistatic dissipative material for a sale use in EPA environment.

Why Choose a Brushless Screwdriver?
There are many advantages to a brushless driver. These drivers offer a wider torque and RPM range. Because Brushless motor communication is accomplished electronically, brushless DC motors are capable of very high speeds and torque without arching. Another advantage to the brushless series is that they have higher duty cycles. Brushless motors have a lower thermal resistance and are capable of operating in a wider temperature range. They also offer sophisticated motion control capabilities. The lack of brushes allows the BRL Series to have a broad closed-loop speed range. Also, brushless motors have a higher torque to inertia ratio, high starting energies, and high breakaway torques. Another benefit to the Brushless drivers is that they are small and lighter. Because they have lower thermal resistance, are capable of operating in wider temperature ranges, and have greater acceleration. Smaller brushless DC motors can do the same job that their much larger counterparts would otherwise be used for. This results in an overall cost reduction. Brushless screwdrivers are cleaner, quieter, and safer. No brushes means a maintenance reduction and no brush residue contamination to bearings or the environment. There is no arcing associated with brushes, and therefore, are safer in explosive environments. Brushless DC motors are also safer in contact with fluids than brush DC motors.
