"THE PATCH", the official membership program of the Gator Bowl Association, boasts bigger and better benefits in 2008. THE PATCH" is the official patch that will be worn by players appearing in the 64th Annual Konica Minolta Gator Bowl Game that will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium."
When wearing their PATCH, members will receive the following benefits through January 8, 2009: one free round of golf per visit and 50% off laser tag and go-karts at Adventure Landing; 15% off at Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q; a free $5 powercard per day / per visit at Dave & Buster's; $0.50 off each fill-up of $50 or more at Gate Petroleum; $35 round of golf all day Monday - Friday and after 11 am on Saturday and Sunday at The Golf Club at Fleming Island, Windsor Parke Golf Club and The Champions Club at Julington Creek; one free game per day at Jax Lanes and Jax Lanes West; 15% off at McAlister's Deli, as well as buy one Southern Style Chicken Biscuit or Sandwich get one of the same free at McDonald's.
Member-only events consist of two "PATCH" golf tournaments with shot gun starts, free refreshments and surprises along the course; Game Week and Game Day events like the Adventure Landing Players' Outing where the whole family can meet and greet the players appearing in the Konica Minolta Gator Bowl, and the game day Budweiser Tailgate Party with concessions, interactive games, music, entertainment and more.
PATCH parties will be hosted monthly beginning in August and extending through November at local establishments throughout Jacksonville.
