Physical Therapists who will receive post-graduate education in the US will spread the message of peace and unity in the name of science and humanity.

On Thursday May 9, 2013 the Bnai Zion Foundation and the Hellenic Relief Foundation will honor Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos with their Distinguished Humanitarian award in a Tribute dinner that will take place at the Bnai Zion House, 136 East 39 Street, New York City, NY 10016 at 7pm.
Dr. Kostopoulos, a world renowned physical therapist and medical doctor in the area of myofascial pain, told Hands-On News that he "decided to donate half of the proceeds from the event to the Rehabilitation Department at the Bnai Zion Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. The other half will be distributed to the Hellenic Relief Foundation, an organization that provides vital assistance to families in Greece that have been afflicted by the financial crisis".
During the event, Dr. Kostopoulos will announce the formation of "I Can Learn Foundation," that its purpose is to provide educational opportunities and bring together healthcare professionals from around the world who otherwise would not have the financial means for post-graduate studies.
Dr. Rizopoulos, co-founder of Hands-On Care Physical Therapy and co-founding member of I Can Learn Foundation told Hands-On News that: "First project of the foundation is to bring to the US, Israeli and Palestinian Physical Therapists as well as Turkish, Cypriot and Greek Physical Therapists who will receive post-graduate education in the US and will spread the message of peace and unity in the name of science and humanity".
