To earn a Microsoft Silver Competency, a company either employs or contracts with at least two Microsoft Certified Professionals(MCPs), or submits a product or application that can pass a qualifying Silver Competency Application Test.Then, the company submits a minimum of three customer references, participates in an annual customer satisfaction survey, and completes technical evaluations and exams.
