Kryterion CEO William Dorman will attend the 2012 European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN) conference Closing the Gap From “Generation Y” to the Mature Lifelong Learner. The conference, hosted in Porto, Portugal runs June 6 through June 9, 2012 and will host attendees from around the globe.
EDEN will explore e-learning methodology and education technology for targeted group demographics including junior and senior e-learners. The conference will explore learning cultures, technology use patterns and discuss new approaches in pedagogy that respond to these e-learners.
Highlighted themes include:
- Design of learning environments, web services and learner support for older learners
- Methods of course design and delivery, and effectiveness of approach
- Smart e-learning solutions for increasing effectiveness in diverse learning settings
- Access and cost issues of e-learning for different generations
- How emerging technologies create socio-economic value for learning different generations
