was made. This is the function you have given your body's eyes. It is not seeing. It is image making. It takes the place of seeing, replacing vision with illusions.

"When a mind has only light, it knows only light. Its own radiance shines all around it, and extends out into the darkness of other minds, transforming them into majesty." Such is the action of "teaching" A Course In Miracles, as exemplified by illuminate teachers, Rosie Kearns and Jan Hollet, on Saturday at the Miracles Healing Center in Wisconsin Dells, WI .
The second day of "A Course In Miracles Mind Training: Workbook 101" began without any ado. Participants were directed in the Course In Miracles workbook lessons of the day and found themselves entertaining and applying radical whole new ideas, such as, "My thoughts are images that I have made." "I have no neutral thoughts." "I see no neutral things." "I am not alone in experiencing the effects of my thoughts." "I am not alone in experiencing the effects of my seeing." "I am determined to see.
Rosie Kearns and Jan Hollett invited participants to a focused practice of Lesson 15 of the workbook which states, "My thoughts are images that I have made." The light of new meaning dawned as Kearns read, "It is because the thoughts you think you think appear as images that you do not recognize them as nothing. You think you think them, and so you think you see them. This is how your "seeing" was made. This is the function you have given your body's eyes. It is not seeing. It is image making. It takes the place of seeing, replacing vision with illusions."
"This introductory idea to the process of image making that you call seeing will not have much meaning for you. You will begin to understand it when you have seen little edges of light around the same familiar objects which you see now. That is the beginning of real vision. You can be certain that real vision will come quickly when this has occurred."
"As we go along, you may have many "light episodes." They may take many different forms, some of them quite unexpected. Do not be afraid of them. They are signs that you are opening your eyes at last. They will not persist, because they merely symbolize true perception, and they are not related to knowledge. These exercises will not reveal knowledge to you. But they will prepare the way to it."
The mind training had begun in earnest.
The event is scheduled to continue through lunchtime on Sunday, August 30, 2009.
