Movie So Good

America loves the Asian action legends because it's good entertainment. Movie So Good reintroduces all the hard-hitting classics to a brand new generation of movie fans.

MYX TV, the country’s premier Asian American television network, forges a partnership with Tai Seng Entertainment, the leading content provider and distributor of Asian motion pictures and television series in the United States. Both brands jointly launch Movie So Good, a throw back Asian movie showcase featuring martial arts and action, dubbed in English.

“MYX TV, the first and only nationally distributed cable network dedicated to the Asian American youth market and Tai Seng, the leading distributor of Asian movies and TV series in the USA, have now joined forces to connect audiences to their roots like no one else can,” said George Chung, Vice President of Sales & Distribution of Tai Seng.

Tai Seng continues a tradition of bringing quality entertainment across the seas to Asian communities throughout the United States, achieving both cult and mainstream status. The exclusive U.S. distributor of TVB and the copyright holder of over 100,000 hours of films and TV series from Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China, Tai Seng’s content is also available on DirecTV, IPTV, Streaming as well as Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Netflix, iTunes and Sony PS3.

“We are proud to enter this new partnership with MYX TV and its hip Asian American youth market,” said Bernard Soo, President of Tai Seng. “In a manner similar to how new music from Far East Movement was on MYX TV even before MTV or VH1, Tai Seng has a history of popularizing Asian action hero stars like Jackie Chan and Jet Li, matinee idol Chow Yun Fat, and Bond girl Michelle Yeoh by circulating their movies in America well before each became household names.”

The movie showcase, Movie So Good, resurrects the kung fu fascination, bringing back classic Asian action stars. The show airs on Saturdays and Sundays on MYX TV at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 6 p.m. Pacific.

“America loves the Asian action legends because it's good entertainment,” said Miguel Santos, head of MYX TV. “Movie So Good reintroduces all the hard-hitting classics to a brand new generation of movie fans.”
