Sixclear (, an Austin-based tech startup, releases the grammatically correct page:, showcasing customers, affiliates, testimonials, and moderate English skills.

“We love our customers,” states Jassem Shahrani, co-owner of Sixclear and former National Instruments engineer. “But love isn’t love until you give it away, so we wanted to publicly share our affection for our customers with everyone familiar with web browsing.” Brian Spears, Sixclear co-owner, agrees: “We’re doing it the best way we know how: putting our customers’ logos in a scrollable window.”

Besides a sampling of customers and affiliates, the new page features several testimonials for the Sixclear LabVIEW Fundamentals course and Sixclear’s development services. “Feedback for both the online and the on-site version of Sixclear LabVIEW Fundamentals has been spectacular, and we thought it was time we made them web-searchable,” says Shahrani.

Sixclear’s affiliates are also highlighted. “Our affiliates are those who recommend and resell Sixclear LabVIEW Fundamentals and our development services,” explains Spears. “Typically they interact with the same customer base. Many are focused on an industry vertical complementary to ours such as robotics, imaging, and the like.”

Shahrani continues that affiliates are able to present a fuller portfolio of offerings to their customers by adding Sixclear’s training to their website or simply bundling training into their own services. He gives the example of one affiliate that consistently prepares LabVIEW code for the affiliate’s customers with the intention that the customer will maintain the code thereafter. “He found that often his customers came back with questions or minor change requests later. Sometimes he'd charge for larger updates, but mostly he was just supporting his own code. Either way it was inefficient and worse, sometimes the impression was that his code was the problem. This ended up being a perfect opportunity for him to add LabVIEW training as a line item in his quotation to the customer. He found that his ROI was better by simply empowering the customer with a bit of online training so they actually understood what he'd developed.”

“Another dead-simple referral method is to just put a link on your website,” explains Spears. “We are able to track where our web leads come from, and if we close a sale from a lead originating from your website, you get a commission check in the mail. Or just send us leads, and we’ll call to close.”

“We are always entertaining potential affiliates,” says Shahrani. “It’s likely due to our entertainment background,” adds Spears. After a long pause Shahrani explains that both have an engineering background.
