Campers participating in Nike Girls Lacrosse Camps and Nike Girls Field Hockey Camps, offered July 12-16 and 19-23, will train daily at the newly renovated Weston Athletic Complex located at Williams College.

Directing the girl’s lacrosse camp is Chris Mason, Williams College Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. "Hosting our summer camp provides players a great opportunity to improve on multiple areas of their game in a structured and competitive environment,” says Coach Mason. Currently in her thirty-first lacrosse season at Williams, Coach Mason has coached 34 All Americans and a National Player of the Year on both Offense and Defense. She was inducted into the US Field Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989 and currently serves as the assistant Field Hockey coach.

The Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp is designed for girls ages 9-18 and focuses on fundamentals, stick skills, position play and team concepts. The program also offers training specifically for goalies, involving the development of their positioning, stick handling and situational game management. Campers compete in scrimmages daily to implement the skill work they learn throughout the day.

The Nike Girls Field Hockey Camp is an all skills program for girls 10-18 which offers the latest instructional techniques that challenge all players from beginner to advanced levels. Instruction includes passing, shooting, offensive and defensive skills, and game situations and strategies. The program also offers training specifically for goalies, involving the development of their positioning, stick handling and situational game management.

Directed by Head Field Hockey Coach, Alix Barrale, campers are trained individually in all of the major fundamental areas of the game. “Our program provides an educational and competitive environment where campers further their skills while having an enjoyable experience,” says Coach Barrale, who is in her 15th year at Williams and has coached seventeen All Americans while leading the Ephs to seven NCAA appearances.

Campers that play both Lacrosse & Field Hockey are encouraged to attend one session of each sport. The five-day programs offer both an overnight or extended day (9:00am-9:00pm) camper option.
