Lord, USAF (Ret.) to its Strategic Advisory Board.
Gen. Lance W. Lord (Ret.) was Commander at Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. He was responsible for the development, acquisition and operation of the Air Force's space and missile systems. The general oversaw global networks of satellite command and control, communications, missile warning and launch facilities, and ensured the combat readiness of America's intercontinental ballistic missile force. He led more than 39,700 space professionals who provided combat forces and capabilities to North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Strategic Command.
Upon retirement, Gen Lord has served as a Senior Associate of The Four Star Group, The Durango Group, and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Astrotech Corporation and Sletten Construction Company. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Astrotech Space Operations a subsidiary of the Astrotech Corporation. He is also a member of the Memorial Health Systems Board of Trustees in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Vice President of the Association of Air Force Missileers.
