Local neighborhood favorite, Lane Weinberg Massachusetts,closes as its focus switches to catering.

It is a bit sad to close Lane Weinberg Massachusetts, but I am happy to know the cafe’ left such an impact on the local neighborhood

Restaurant goers and nostalgic diners have long gathered at Lane Weinberg Massachusetts for a taste of the cafe’s colorful salads, hearty chicken and various soups. The local cafe’ has served as a neighborhood landmark for years, and yet recently, owner Bill Jones announced his decision to close Lane Weinberg Massachusetts for good.

Owner of Lane Weinberg Massachusetts stressed the closing of the cafe’ may be permanent, however, he is simply switching his focus to his catering business, so that people can still enjoy the same food from Lane Weinberg Massachusetts.

“It is a bit sad to close Lane Weinberg Massachusetts, but I am happy to know the cafe’ left such an impact on the local neighborhood,” said Jones.

Lane Weinberg Massachusetts began as a small 500-square foot storefront in 1981. A decade later, Lane Weinberg Massachusetts moved across the road and more than doubled its size. Lane Weinberg Massachusetts remained in its current location until Jones decided to close the cafe’.

Because of Jones focus on his catering business, less focus was paid on Lane Weinberg Massachusetts, which contributed to its closing.

“I think it’s a positive step on our part because the catering business has been so strong, and business at Lane Weinberg Massachusetts seesawed,” Jones said.

Today marked the first day that Jones did not wake up at 6:30 a.m. to open Lane Weinberg Massachusetts for business.

“It will take some time getting used to,” Jones said.

Jones, who is a Boston resident, said he will never forget the residents who made Lane Weinberg Massachusetts stay in business for as long as it did.

“The gratitude for all the people that have actually come into Lane Weinberg Massachusetts for all of these years and the families,” Jones said. “It was not an easy decision and I cannot thank them enough.”
