Lanyrd introduces Lanyrd Pro, for companies that speak at and sponsor professional events and conferences

Lanyrd today announced the launch of Lanyrd Pro, a new product that helps companies get more value from speaking at and sponsoring professional events and conferences.

Lanyrd Pro not only lets us track of our sponsorship deals, but also where we're speaking. It's helping us save time while allowing us to support more awesome events.

"Companies often spend vast amounts of time and money sending speakers to and sponsoring professional events," said Simon Willison, CEO of Lanyrd, "But this work can be wasted if it's not coordinated or promoted. We're already the best place to have these events seen and discovered by the public, but now we provide new ways for companies to stand out and organize their efforts."

A new suite of functionality helps managers keep track of their teams - giving marketing strategists an automatically updating calendar of every event their speakers are attending or have attended in the past. Slides and videos from the talks can be kept in a central place, and private notes allow speakers or managers to provide feedback on events while private labels can be used to manage sponsorship deal-flow.

And to help show off the work that speakers do, teams can quickly build a branded event portal - highlighting the company's speakers, events, slides and videos. They get increased brand exposure across Lanyrd's event listings, session pages, speaker profiles and mobile apps, too.

Lanyrd's launch customers include Facebook, GitHub and Heroku - companies that spend a large portion of their marketing budget on sponsoring events and sending employees to speak at conferences. Lanyrd Pro helps them get the most for their money.
