Duterte Insurance Group has announced the latest charity campaign in their ‘Agents of Change’ movement benefitting the people of Laredo, TX. The newest initiative supports Sacred Heart Children’s Home on behalf of local children in need of a stable environment. Donations to this worthy cause may now be made here.

Sacred Heart Children’s Home provides a safe, nurturing, happy home for local children who are unable to stay with their families due to a variety of reasons: death or divorce, parents who are unable to provide for basic needs and children who have been abused and/or neglected. In a holistic family environment, kids benefit from structure, education, discipline and attention, while secure in the knowledge that they are well cared for and safe. Sacred Heart was begun by the Servants of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of the Poor in 1907 and has enjoyed longevity and continued success in serving children in need because of those who give generously to support their efforts.

“Help, hope, and a brighter future – that’s what Sacred Heart provides for local kids in need,” said Keefe Duterte, owner of Duterte Insurance. “We are truly grateful for their efforts on behalf of the children of our community and are honored to help further their mission with our charity initiative.”

The caring team at Duterte Insurance has mobilized support for Sacred Heart with a vibrant social media and email awareness campaign. They have also featured the fundraiser in their vibrant community magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in and around Laredo every month.
