It is pretty cool to see our high power LED color lights used in this application, particularly since we have several Yoopers working here at Larson.

The Magnalight LEDLB-24E series of high powered LED lights, configured with blue LED packages, provided the blue illumination for the Mackinac Bridge’s Light it Blue 2013 campaign on May 29, 2013. The bridge was illuminated blue at night to recognize ‘Pure Michigan’s’ icons, an advertising program to draw visitors to Michigan, a state surrounded by four Great Lakes. Additionally, the bridge was bathed in blue light in honor of Nascar driver and Michigan native, Keselowski and his Blue Deuce race car. Keselowski was the first Nascar driver to drive his car across the suspension bridge that connects the Upper and Lower Peninsula of the Great Lakes State.
